Reviewer comments:

This is by no means a bad course (I say that despite coming last in a BMGA friendly match when playing it for the first time). But it could be made so much better. The main problem is that it is divided with the golfer rather than minigolf player in mind. As such, some of the holes do not feature a continuous raised perimeter border -- meaning that the ball will all too easily leave the playing area, and precluding certain rebound shots that might otherwise afford a good chance of an ace. The greens are poorly maintained, and in some cases the material (astroturf) is broken around the cup. On some of the holes it is necessary to lay up and play for a two -- even using professional minigolf balls will not help secure an ace. The best features of the courses are the undulating greens, vicious downhill slopes, and water hazards (at two holes). Another plus point is the licensed bar on-site (although this is likely to be jam-packed at weekends). Seven out of ten -- but would be a good eight if they took the trouble to put in raised borders at all the holes; and spent a bit on maintenance.

Reviewer comments:

I felt the course was original and has great potential. The border behind each tee needs to be built up to prevent water coming onto the course and bringing mud etc. I also feel that the flat borders behind the tee are a good idea and that if you leave the course you must tee off again, meaning your touch has to be precise or you start again!
