9 – Nice look to the course and surrounding facilities

Difficulty Level:

9 – Some holes are very deceptive, but the challenge is there to get better and better at each hole

9 – Plenty of skill required

8 – The carpet was an obvious problem, however a lot of work and effort was put in to make it ‘tournament quality’ ahead of the British Open

10 – I’ll definitely be playing the course again

9 – Nice atmosphere and good views

8 – Being a ‘professional’ I brought my own equipment, however my ‘Coach’ used the course equipment to play and found it of good quality. Scorecards and pencils were provided.

10 – I haven’t played a course like it before and all of the holes were new to me

9 – Toilets, Café (with great food especially the toasties and Ham & Eggs), plenty of seating and good vantage points for spectating.

Vicinity Facilities:

7 – Margate Seafront, the beach. Good central location near to the station and hotels.

The 11^th Hole, Heartbreak Ridge is an apt name for a horribly tough hole.
