Sustainability:

8 (I would, and have, played this course a number of times and I will continue to do so. It’s by no means the best or worst Crazy Golf course I have played, and if you are in Luton and love Crazy Golf then you should play it! Every town and city in the UK should have a course and Luton has now got theirs back!)

Other factors:

Appearance:

It looks like a Crazy Golf course and makes you want to play it so I’d give it a 7.

Environment:

The courses are set within Wardown Park in Luton, and is a very nice environment for a round or two of Crazy Golf.

Equipment:

The equipment is very good, Putters are in good condition and there are different balls available (e.g. standard golf, low bounce).

Originality:

It employs some of the same obstacles used in courses in St Albans and Southsea but is a different layout.

Venue Facilities:

A catering kiosk selling burgers, chips, ice creams, drinks and other refreshments.

Vicinity Facilities:

The very interesting Wardown Park museum is also in the park, there is a lake and plenty of ducks to feed, and a children’s playground.

Luton town centre is about 10 minutes walk from the park and has plenty of shops, pubs and restaurants for the visitor.

Value for money:

9-hole Crazy Golf is £2 per game (players get a scorecard and pencil – an increasing rarity on many courses I have played!).

9-hole Mini Golf £3 per game.

Reviewer comments:

The 9th Hole is quite tough, and a few of the holes have ‘sunk’ in parts making play more difficult, however ‘Aces’ can be scored on a number of the holes.

Overall the course is fun to play and the course owner is very friendly and happy to take comments on how to improve the course.
