Overall playability rating:

6

Playability:

Design:

7 – certainly unique

Difficulty Level:

9 – very difficult, but not in a good way

Skill Factor:

3 – pretty much pot luck

Maintenance:

5 – could have been better maintained

Sustainability:

5 – I’ve played it, but I probably wouldn’t go out of my way to play it again

Other factors:

Appearance:

7 – interesting design and look, but a bit shabby in places

Environment:

5 – it’s all set in quite an eerie old theatre, on the whole it’s quite spooky

Equipment:

7 – good putters and balls, but the scorecard was a very thin photocopy that said ‘Crazy Golf’ on it.

Originality:

10 – very original, not that that is always a good thing, with some holes quite unplayable, e.g. the beach hole that is covered with real sand.

Venue Facilities:

7 – Children’s play area inside as well

Vicinity Facilities:

10

Value for money:

7

Reviewer comments:

Not the best course in the world, it could be so much better if the holes actually required some skill, rather than just hitting the ball very hard and hoping for the best. Also claims to be the UK’s only Indoor Adventure Golf, but I know for a fact there is an Indoor Adventure Golf/Golf FX in Felixstowe.
