Review

Date:

 26th August 2007

Weather (if applicable):

 Nice and sunny

Overall playability rating:

8

Playability:

Design:

8 – It looks good and has some nice holes with tunnels and pipes

Difficulty Level:

8 – It’s got some difficult holes and you probably need more skill than luck to get a good score

Skill Factor:

8 – Lots of skill required, you could probably spend a bit of time finding the best lines to play

Maintenance:

9 – the course is in good condition and is well maintained

Sustainability:

9 – I will definitely play it again, and it’s worth a play if you’re in Felixstowe

Other factors:

Appearance:

It looks like many Adventure Golf courses in its theme – rope bridges, waterfalls, faces of Inca Idols etc. but unfortunately no crashed planes or jeeps

Environment:

8 – It wasn’t that busy when we played, but I have played it before and there has been a short waiting time between holes.

Equipment:

8 – Good putters and course balls (low bounce available). Pencil and scorecards are also provided

Originality:

It’s got holes that I haven’t played elsewhere

Venue Facilities:

Vending machine! It’s halfway down the sea front so surrounded by amusement arcades and food establishments

Vicinity Facilities:

The sea front, two other courses, toilets etc. everything you’d expect from a seaside

Value for money:

10

Reviewer comments:

Could make a nice venue for a BMGA tournament in the future. It would be good to spend a bit more time practicing the holes as some can be quite tricky.
